About the product
By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references
Presented by Vibcare Pharma, Drovib MF is a tablet formulation. Its two actives are Drotaverine 80 mg and Mefenamic Acid 250 mg in each tablet, and the product is grouped under the anti-spasmodic and pain-relieving class. Supply is as 5x5x10 (Blister) through Vibcare Pharma's Prima division.
Two different actions sit inside this tablet. Drotaverine 80 mg works as an antispasmodic that lets tightened smooth muscle relax, so cramps and spasms ease. Mefenamic Acid 250 mg is an NSAID that blocks prostaglandin formation in the affected tissues, and that lowers pain and inflammation.
Doctors prescribe it for mild to moderate pain, for primary dysmenorrhea and for crampy discomfort arising from spasm in the stomach, intestines, bile ducts and urinary tract. It is also ruled out during coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery and in the third trimester of pregnancy. Mefenamic acid, being an NSAID, carries a risk of heart attack or stroke and of serious bleeding, ulceration or perforation in the stomach or intestine.
Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
