About the product
By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references
Noraspas is a tablet from Vibcare Pharma carrying Drotaverine 80 mg and Mefenamic Acid 250 mg as its two actives. The brand falls in the anti-spasmodic and pain-relieving class. Its pack is 5x5x10 (Blister), supplied from Vibcare Pharma's Medanor division.
Its working comes from two directions. Mefenamic Acid 250 mg reduces prostaglandin levels at the painful, inflamed site and so lessens pain and inflammation. Drotaverine 80 mg acts on smooth muscle as an antispasmodic, relaxing it and calming cramps and spasms.
Noraspas is meant for mild to moderate pain, for primary dysmenorrhea, and for cramps linked with spasm of smooth muscle in the gastrointestinal tract, bile ducts and urinary tract. The setting of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery and the third trimester of pregnancy are also excluded. Because mefenamic acid is an NSAID, it carries a risk of serious heart and blood vessel events like heart attack or stroke, and of serious bleeding, ulceration or perforation of the stomach or intestine.
Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
