ESOVIB L ESOMEPRAZOLE 40mg. IP + LEVOSULPIRIDE 75mg. IP

Esovib L capsules contain Esomeprazole 40 mg and Levosulpiride 75 mg for healing erosive esophagitis and reflux symptoms. Main uses: short-term treatment and healing of diagnostically confirmed erosive esophagitis in adults and adolescents aged 12 to 17 years; symptomatic resolution of diagnostically confirmed erosive esophagitis; short-term treatment of heartburn and other symptoms associated with gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in adults and adolescents aged 12 to 17 years.

Common side effects of Esovib L Capsule include headache; diarrhoea; nausea; flatulence; abdominal pain; constipation. Get medical help at once if you notice acute tubulointerstitial nephritis (inflammation of the kidney); severe skin reactions; clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea, and low magnesium levels in the blood with long-term use.

Must not be used by patients with known hypersensitivity to substituted benzimidazoles or to any component of the formulation. Must not be used by patients receiving rilpivirine-containing products. Concomitant use with clopidogrel should be avoided. Levosulpiride must not be used in Parkinson's disease or other movement disorders, or in a known prolactinoma or hyperprolactinaemia.
