About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Neksomed L is a capsule from Vibcare Pharma, combining Esomeprazole 40 mg and Levosulpiride 75 mg in each unit. It is classified as a proton pump inhibitor and prokinetic product. The packing style is 10x10 (Alu Alu), and the brand belongs to Vibcare Pharma's Evermed division.

How it works

The two parts of the capsule serve different roles. Esomeprazole is activated in the acid-producing cells of the stomach and stops the acid pump there, so less acid is made. Levosulpiride works on dopamine D2 receptors along the gut, which supports food moving onward from the stomach.

Used for

Short-term treatment and healing of diagnostically confirmed erosive esophagitis and short-term treatment of heartburn and other symptoms of GERD are the reasons for which Neksomed L is used.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
