Description

Methojem 2500 Injection is an injection for use under medical supervision. Each ampoule contains Methylcobalamin 2500 mcg and Benzyl Alcohol 2% v/v, and it belongs to the Neuro & Neuropathy class from Vibcare Pharma's Auspin division. The product is packed as 1's.

How it works

Methylcobalamin is the active form of vitamin B12. In the body it helps nerves carry signals normally and supports the maintenance and repair of the outer covering of nerve fibres, which is often affected in people with vitamin B12 deficiency or nerve damage. Benzyl Alcohol 2% v/v is included as a preservative to help inhibit microbial growth in the solution and does not act on the nerves itself; follow the product's instructions for use after opening.

Used for

Methojem 2500 Injection is used for vitamin B12 deficiency and for nerve-related problems such as peripheral neuropathy and diabetic neuropathy, where symptoms include numbness, tingling or burning pain in the hands and feet. Potassium levels may need to be monitored during treatment of severe vitamin B12 deficiency.
