Read our full guide: Montelukast and levocetirizine: uses, dose, side effects and brands
A tablet product from Vibcare Pharma's Evermed division, Everkast FX brings together Montelukast Sodium 10mg and Fexofenadine 120mg in one tablet. It falls in the anti-allergic and anti-histamine class. The product is packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu).
The Montelukast Sodium component blocks leukotriene receptors, so the airways stay less swollen and less prone to tightening. Fexofenadine counters histamine and eases the sneezing, itching and watery eyes that come with an allergic reaction. By working on two separate chemical pathways, the tablet addresses both the bronchial and the nasal side of allergy.
Doctors prescribe Everkast FX for the prophylaxis and chronic treatment of asthma in patients 15 years and older, for prevention of exercise-induced bronchoconstriction, and for relief of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis symptoms.
Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
