About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Trypoflam D tablets come from Vibcare Pharma's Medanor division and contain Trypsin 48 mg, Bromelain 90 mg, Rutoside Trihydrate 100 mg and Diclofenac 50 mg. The tablets belong to the analgesic and anti-inflammatory (NSAID) class and are packed as 10x1x10 (Blister).

How it works

The way the tablet works is shared by its four parts. Diclofenac lowers prostaglandin production and so relieves pain, inflammation and fever. Trypsin and Bromelain are enzymes that break down the proteins involved in swelling and help clear fluid from injured tissue. Rutoside Trihydrate, a plant flavonoid, helps keep blood vessel walls firm and limits fluid leakage and swelling.

Used for

Use of Trypoflam D covers relief of mild to moderate pain, the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, primary dysmenorrhea, and swelling and inflammation after injury or surgery. The Diclofenac in these tablets can raise the risk of heart attack or stroke and of stomach or intestinal bleeding, ulceration or perforation, which can be fatal, so the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration is used.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.

  • Must not be used in the setting of coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery.
