Telmivib H (10 Pack) tablets combine Telmisartan and Hydrochlorothiazide for the treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure. Main uses: treatment of hypertension, to lower blood pressure; lowering blood pressure reduces the risk of fatal and non-fatal cardiovascular events, mainly strokes and heart attacks; blood pressure control as part of overall cardiovascular risk management, along with lifestyle and other measures; many patients need more than one medicine to reach blood pressure goals, as advised by the doctor.

Common side effects of Telmivib H Tablet include upper respiratory tract infection; dizziness; sinusitis; diarrhoea; fatigue; flu-like symptoms. Get medical help at once if you notice low blood pressure (hypotension), especially in patients with volume or salt depletion; kidney (renal) impairment; fluid or electrolyte imbalance, including low potassium.

Telmisartan works by blocking the action of angiotensin II, so blood vessels relax and blood flows with less pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic that helps the kidneys pass out extra salt and water with urine, which lowers the fluid volume in the blood vessels. The two ingredients act together to bring down raised blood pressure.

Must not be used by patients who are allergic to telmisartan, hydrochlorothiazide or any other component of the product. Must not be used in patients with anuria (no urine formation). Must not be used with aliskiren in patients with diabetes. Must not be used during pregnancy; drugs acting on the renin-angiotensin system can injure and cause death of the developing baby, so the medicine must be stopped as soon as pregnancy is detected. Check with a doctor first if there is volume or salt depletion, kidney problems, electrolyte imbalance, glaucoma or eye problems, or if other blood pressure or potassium-affecting medicines are being taken.
