How the Company Started
The family has been in pharmaceuticals since 1970 — first retail, then distribution across north India. Vibcare Pharma Pvt Ltd was incorporated in 2014 and began commercial operations in 2015 with three products and a short list of districts.
For the first years the products were made by contract manufacturers. That worked, but it meant the answer to “who makes this” was always somebody else’s name. In 2020 the group broke ground on its own plant in Panchkula district, and in May 2023 Vibcare Healthcare Pvt Ltd began manufacturing. The WHO-GMP certificate for that plant was issued in October 2024.
Milestones
- 1970 — the family enters pharmaceuticals. Retail first, then distribution across north India.
- 2014 — Vibcare Pharma Pvt Ltd is incorporated in Panchkula, Haryana.
- 2015 — commercial operations begin with three products.
- September 2017 — the corporate office moves to 60,000+ sq ft at HSIIDC IT Park, Sector 22, Panchkula — owned by Vibcare, not leased.
- March 2020 — stone-laying ceremony for the Vibcare Healthcare plant.
- 11 May 2023 — the plant is inaugurated. One lakh sq ft built on five acres, with four sections: tablets, capsules, oral liquids and externals. Vibcare Healthcare →
- October 2024 — WHO-GMP certificate issued for the Vibcare Healthcare plant.
- Under construction — a dedicated Ayurvedic unit at the same site.
