VIVONAC SPASDROTAVERINE 80mg. IP + ACECLOFENAC 100mg. IP

Vivonac Spas tablets combine an antispasmodic and an NSAID for pain with spasm. Main uses: abdominal pain and cramps caused by spasm of the gut; menstrual cramps (dysmenorrhoea) with spasm; pain from spasm of the urinary tract, such as renal colic; pain from spasm of the biliary tract; musculoskeletal pain with spasm.

Common side effects of Vivonac Spas Tablet include stomach pain or discomfort; nausea or vomiting; indigestion or heartburn; diarrhoea or constipation; dizziness or drowsiness; headache. Get medical help at once if you notice stomach ulcer or bleeding, which may show as black stools or vomiting of blood; severe allergic reaction with swelling of the face or breathing difficulty; liver or kidney problems.

Each Vivonac Spas tablet contains Drotaverine 80 mg + Aceclofenac 100 mg. The right dose and how long to take it depend on the condition, age and other medicines, so use Vivonac Spas Tablet only as your doctor advises.

Each Vivonac Spas tablet contains Drotaverine 80 mg + Aceclofenac 100 mg. It comes in a pack of 10x10 (Alu Alu).

Two ingredients work side by side in this tablet. Drotaverine helps the smooth muscle of the gut, urinary tract and other organs relax, so the spasm behind crampy pain is eased. Aceclofenac belongs to the non-steroidal anti-inflammatory group and lowers pain and inflammation by blocking the body's pain and swelling signals. Both the spasm and the pain around it are thus addressed.

Must not be used by patients allergic to aceclofenac, drotaverine, aspirin or other NSAIDs, or by patients with a history of asthma, urticaria or allergic reactions after taking pain-relieving medicines. Must not be used by patients with active stomach or duodenal ulcer or bleeding. Must not be used by patients with severe kidney impairment or severe liver impairment. Must not be used by patients with established heart disease such as ischemic heart disease, peripheral arterial disease, cerebrovascular disease or heart failure. Must not be used in the third trimester of pregnancy; use in earlier pregnancy should be avoided unless clearly necessary and advised by a doctor. Check with a doctor first if you have kidney, liver or heart disease, a bleeding disorder or are taking blood thinners.
