Esmonor DSR (10 Pack) combines Esomeprazole 40 mg and Domperidone 30 mg in a capsule for reflux, acidity and vomiting. Main uses: short-term healing of erosive oesophagitis (acid-damaged food pipe); relief of heartburn and acid regurgitation in gastro-oesophageal reflux disease; nausea and vomiting; fullness, bloating and discomfort linked to slow stomach emptying; reflux symptoms with associated vomiting or delayed gastric emptying.

Common side effects of Esmonor DSR Capsule include headache; diarrhoea; nausea; flatulence; abdominal pain; constipation. Get medical help at once if you notice severe allergic reactions including swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or anaphylaxis; kidney inflammation (acute tubulointerstitial nephritis); severe skin reactions.

Each Esmonor DSR capsule contains Esomeprazole 40 mg + Domperidone 30 mg. The right dose and how long to take it depend on the condition, age and other medicines, so use Esmonor DSR Capsule only as your doctor advises.

Esomeprazole in the capsule reduces the acid the stomach makes by acting on the acid pump in the stomach lining, so burning and acid regurgitation settle. Domperidone helps the stomach empty at a normal rate and blocks dopamine action, which brings down nausea, vomiting and the heavy feeling after food.

Must not be used in patients with known allergy to substituted benzimidazoles or to any component of the formulation. Must not be used in patients taking rilpivirine-containing products. Esomeprazole must not be used together with clopidogrel. Domperidone must not be used in patients with significant cardiac disease, existing QT prolongation or electrolyte disturbances, or in patients with moderate or severe liver impairment.
