Description

Esovib DSR is a capsule preparation brought out by Vibcare Pharma's Prima division. It combines Esomeprazole 40 mg and Domperidone 30 mg, from the class of proton pump inhibitor and prokinetic anti-emetic. The product is packed as 10x15 (Alu Alu).

How it works

Domperidone in the capsule supports normal stomach movement and blocks the dopamine signals behind nausea and vomiting, so food leaves the stomach at a steady rate. Esomeprazole acts at the acid pump of the stomach lining and lowers acid output, which calms heartburn and acid regurgitation.

Used for

The capsules are prescribed for reflux disease with heartburn and acid regurgitation, for short-term healing of an acid-damaged food pipe, and for nausea and vomiting.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
