Neksomed DSR (10 Pack) is a capsule with Esomeprazole 40 mg and Domperidone 30 mg for acid reflux with nausea. Main uses: short-term healing of erosive oesophagitis (acid-damaged food pipe); relief of heartburn and acid regurgitation in gastro-oesophageal reflux disease; nausea and vomiting; fullness, bloating and discomfort linked to slow stomach emptying; reflux symptoms with associated vomiting or delayed gastric emptying.

Common side effects of Neksomed DSR Capsule include headache; diarrhoea; nausea; flatulence; abdominal pain; constipation. Get medical help at once if you notice severe allergic reactions including swelling of the face or lips, wheezing or anaphylaxis; kidney inflammation (acute tubulointerstitial nephritis); severe skin reactions.

Each Neksomed DSR capsule contains Esomeprazole 40 mg + Domperidone 30 mg. The right dose and how long to take it depend on the condition, age and other medicines, so use Neksomed DSR Capsule only as your doctor advises.

The Esomeprazole part lowers stomach acid by blocking the acid pump in the stomach lining, which eases heartburn and helps an acid-damaged food pipe heal. The Domperidone part supports normal stomach movement and blocks dopamine signals that cause nausea, so fullness, bloating and vomiting are kept under control.

Must not be used in patients with known allergy to substituted benzimidazoles or to any component of the formulation. Must not be used in patients taking rilpivirine-containing products. Esomeprazole must not be used together with clopidogrel. Domperidone must not be used in patients with significant cardiac disease, existing QT prolongation or electrolyte disturbances, or in patients with moderate or severe liver impairment.
