About the product
By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references
Ferlib XT Drops is an oral drops preparation made by Vibcare Pharma. It combines Ferrous Ascorbate 10 mg with Folic Acid 100 mcg. The medicine falls under the class of haematinic and anti-anaemic products and is packed as 15ml. It comes from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division.
Ferrous Ascorbate supplies iron bound to vitamin C. Iron is needed to build haemoglobin, the part of red blood cells that carries oxygen to tissues, and the vitamin C part of the compound helps the body absorb the iron. Folic acid is a B vitamin that helps the body form and maintain new cells, including red blood cells, and so supports normal blood formation.
Ferlib XT Drops is used for iron deficiency anaemia and folate deficiency anaemia, and in pregnancy to prevent or treat iron deficiency and to provide folic acid. Keep the pack out of the reach of children, since accidental overdose of iron is dangerous for them.
Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
