Read our full guide: Itraconazole: uses, dose, side effects and brands
Fungivice 200 (4 Pack) is a capsule from Vibcare Pharma. Each capsule contains Itraconazole 200 mg, an azole anti-fungal medicine. It is packed as 10x4 (Blister) and comes from Vibcare Pharma's Grace division.
Itraconazole works by blocking an enzyme called lanosterol 14-alpha-demethylase that the fungus needs to build ergosterol, a key part of its cell membrane. Without ergosterol the membrane weakens, the fungus stops multiplying and the infection is brought under control. It acts against a range of yeasts and moulds.
Fungivice 200 (4 Pack) is used for fungal infections such as blastomycosis, histoplasmosis, aspergillosis, onychomycosis and fungal skin infections.
Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.

Must not be used by anyone with a known allergy to itraconazole. Must not be taken with certain other medicines that are broken down by the same liver enzyme system (for example some heart, cholesterol, sedative and allergy medicines) because itraconazole raises their levels. Must not be used for fungal nail infections (onychomycosis) in patients with congestive heart failure or any signs of ventricular dysfunction; itraconazole can cause or worsen heart failure, so tell your doctor about any heart condition, history of heart failure or heart risk factors before treatment. Must not be used for fungal nail infections (onychomycosis) during pregnancy; women of childbearing age must use effective contraception during treatment and for two months after treatment ends, and pregnancy must be avoided. Check with a doctor first if you have liver problems, or if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.
