OMINAN 20 OMEPRAZOLE 20mg. IP

Ominan 20 is a capsule with omeprazole 20 mg, used for ulcers, GERD, erosive oesophagitis and excess stomach acid. Main uses: short-term treatment of active duodenal ulcer in adults; eradication of Helicobacter pylori in duodenal ulcer disease, as part of combination therapy with antibiotics; treatment of active benign gastric ulcer in adults; treatment of symptomatic gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) in patients 2 years of age and older; healing and maintenance of healing of erosive oesophagitis due to acid-mediated GERD in patients 2 years of age and older.

Common side effects of Ominan 20 Capsule include headache; abdominal pain; nausea; diarrhoea; vomiting; flatulence. Get medical help at once if you notice acute tubulointerstitial nephritis (kidney inflammation); severe cutaneous adverse reactions (serious skin reactions); hypomagnesaemia (low magnesium levels).
