Description

Cefvib O is a tablet made by Vibcare Pharma. Each tablet carries Cefixime 200 mg and Ofloxacin 200 mg. It belongs to the antibiotic and anti-infective class of medicines, combining a cephalosporin and a fluoroquinolone. The product is packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu) and comes from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division.

How it works

Cefixime is a cephalosporin antibiotic. It works by stopping bacteria from building their cell walls, which weakens and destroys them. Ofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic. It works by stopping bacteria from copying and repairing their DNA, so they cannot grow and multiply. Together the two act on susceptible bacteria.
