ITRACONAZOLE 1%w/w IP

A topical antifungal dusting powder that treats skin infections caused by a fungus such as ringworm, infection of feet, nails and infections of the groin. The most effective azoles for the treatment of dermatophytosis. (Shyam B. Verma, 2021) Inhibits itching, fight fungal infections, and prevents recurrence of the fungus. Effectively relieves the symptoms of fungal infections such as burning, itching, and cracking of the skin. Acts primarily by impairing the synthesis of ergosterol which kills the fungus and prevents its growth.
