About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Yetzone S 1.5 Injection is an injection made by Vibcare Pharma and supplied from its Auspin division. It contains Ceftriaxone 1 gm together with Sulbactam 500 mg in each pack, and it belongs to the class Antibiotic and Anti-Infective (Antibacterial). The pack is packed as 1's.

How it works

The two ingredients work as a pair. Ceftriaxone is a cephalosporin antibiotic that interferes with the cell wall of bacteria so they are unable to grow. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. Certain bacteria produce enzymes that break down antibiotics, and Sulbactam stops those enzymes from acting, which supports the activity of Ceftriaxone against those organisms.
