Predijem 4 tablets supply Methylprednisolone 4 mg, a corticosteroid for inflammatory, allergic and endocrine conditions. Main uses: short-term relief of acute episodes or flare-ups of rheumatic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, acute gouty arthritis, bursitis and tenosynovitis; management of collagen diseases such as systemic lupus erythematosus and acute rheumatic carditis; severe skin conditions such as severe psoriasis, pemphigus, bullous dermatitis herpetiformis and severe erythema multiforme; control of severe allergic conditions that do not respond to usual treatment, such as seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis and drug allergies; endocrine conditions including primary or secondary adrenocortical insufficiency, congenital adrenal hyperplasia, nonsuppurative thyroiditis and hypercalcemia associated with cancer.

Common side effects of Predijem 4 Tablet include salt and water retention, fluid retention and mild rise in blood pressure; loss of potassium from the body; muscle weakness and loss of muscle mass; stomach irritation, abdominal bloating and peptic ulcer symptoms; thin fragile skin, easy bruising and slowed wound healing; headache, dizziness and vertigo. Get medical help at once if you notice new or hidden infections, which may be severe; glaucoma or posterior subcapsular cataracts with prolonged use; peptic ulcer with bleeding or perforation.
