About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Marketed by Vibcare Pharma, Rosiver F 10/145 is a tablet formulation containing Rosuvastatin 10 mg along with Fenofibrate 145 mg. It is classed as a lipid-lowering medicine meant for raised cholesterol and triglyceride levels. Vibcare Pharma supplies this brand packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu) through its Evermed division.

How it works

Rosuvastatin lowers cholesterol production in the liver by inhibiting the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, which brings down LDL cholesterol. Fenofibrate, on the other hand, activates PPAR-alpha so that triglyceride-rich particles are broken down and cleared from the blood, while HDL cholesterol goes up. Because fenofibrate is given together with a statin, the risk of myopathy and rhabdomyolysis is increased, so unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness must be reported to the doctor at once.

Used for

This medicine is given alongside diet to reduce LDL cholesterol, total cholesterol, triglycerides and apolipoprotein B and to increase HDL cholesterol in adult patients with primary hypercholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia, and to treat severe hypertriglyceridemia in adults. A doctor should be consulted first by elderly patients and those with diabetes, hypothyroidism, kidney problems, or who take blood thinners; unexplained muscle pain or weakness needs prompt medical review.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
