About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Presented by Vibcare Pharma's Evermed division, Rosiver 10 is a tablet form of Rosuvastatin 10 mg. Rosuvastatin is an HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor, the group of medicines known as statins that act on cholesterol production in the liver. Each pack of Rosiver 10 comes as 10x15 (Alu Alu).

How it works

In the liver, an enzyme called HMG-CoA reductase turns a substance into a building block for cholesterol. Rosuvastatin blocks this enzyme, so less cholesterol is made and more LDL cholesterol is removed from the bloodstream. By lowering LDL cholesterol and triglycerides in this way, the tablets support efforts to limit the narrowing of arteries.

Used for

Rosiver 10 is prescribed with diet to reduce LDL cholesterol in adults with primary hyperlipidemia and to slow the progression of atherosclerosis, to reduce the risk of major adverse cardiovascular events such as heart attack and stroke in adults at increased risk, and in familial hypercholesterolemia (heterozygous from 8 years and homozygous from 7 years), primary dysbetalipoproteinemia and hypertriglyceridemia. Use only on a doctor's prescription.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
