ROSUVIB 40 ROSUVASTATIN 40mg. IP

Rosuvib 40 tablets contain Rosuvastatin 40 mg and are used along with diet to lower high LDL cholesterol in adults. Main uses: used along with diet to lower LDL cholesterol in adults with primary hyperlipidemia; used along with diet to lower LDL cholesterol and slow the progression of atherosclerosis in adults; used along with diet to lower LDL cholesterol in adults with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia; as an add-on to other LDL-lowering therapy, or alone if such therapy is not available, to lower LDL cholesterol in adults with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia; used along with diet in adults with primary dysbetalipoproteinemia.

Common side effects of Rosuvib 40 Tablet include headache; nausea; muscle pain (myalgia); weakness or lack of energy (asthenia); constipation; stomach or abdominal pain. Get medical help at once if you notice muscle breakdown (rhabdomyolysis), especially with unexplained muscle pain, tenderness or weakness; liver problems, including raised liver enzymes or rarely liver failure; rare autoimmune muscle condition (immune-mediated necrotizing myopathy).
