About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Zardcef S 750MG Injection is a sterile injection that contains Ceftriaxone 500mg and Sulbactam 250mg. It belongs to the antibiotic and anti-infective (antibacterial) group of medicines. Packed as 1's, it comes from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division.

How it works

Ceftriaxone is a cephalosporin antibiotic that works by stopping bacteria from forming their cell walls, which weakens and kills them. Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that blocks the enzymes some bacteria make to break down antibiotics, so that ceftriaxone can act against those bacteria.
