Moxivib CV 1.2 Injection is an injection from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division. Each unit contains Amoxycillin 1000 mg and Clavulanic Acid 200 mg. It belongs to the antibiotic and anti-infective (antibacterial) class and is packed as 1.2gm.
The amoxycillin in Moxivib CV 1.2 Injection is a penicillin-type antibiotic that prevents susceptible bacteria from forming cell walls, which they need to survive. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. It blocks the enzyme that some bacteria produce to break down amoxycillin, so the antibiotic can keep working against those bacteria.
This injection is used for infections caused by susceptible bacteria, including lower respiratory tract infections, acute bacterial otitis media, sinusitis, skin and skin structure infections and urinary tract infections.
Given only by a doctor or nurse.
