Description

Moxivib CV Kid Tablet from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division is a tablet for oral use. Each tablet contains Amoxycillin 200 mg and Clavulanic Acid 28.5 mg, and it belongs to the antibiotic and anti-infective (antibacterial) group. The product is packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu).

How it works

In this combination, amoxycillin is a penicillin-class antibacterial that stops bacteria from making their cell walls. Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. It blocks the enzyme that some bacteria produce to break down amoxycillin, so the antibacterial part can do its work against those bacteria.

Used for

Moxivib CV Kid Tablet is used for infections caused by susceptible bacteria: lower respiratory tract infections, acute bacterial otitis media, sinusitis, skin and skin structure infections, and urinary tract infections. It should be avoided in patients with mononucleosis, as a skin rash is likely to occur.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
