Description

A mono carton presentation of the tablet Moxivib CV 625 Mono Carton Tablet, each tablet containing Amoxycillin 500 mg together with Clavulanic Acid 125 mg. It is an antibacterial medicine of the penicillin type combined with a beta-lactamase inhibitor. It is packed as 10x1x6 (Alu Alu) and is supplied from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division.

How it works

In this tablet, amoxycillin attacks the bacteria by preventing them from forming a cell wall, while clavulanic acid blocks the enzyme that certain bacteria use to break down penicillin. This pairing means amoxycillin can act against bacteria that would otherwise be able to resist it. Both ingredients work together on the site of infection.

Used for

The medicine is used for infections such as lower respiratory tract infections, acute bacterial otitis media, sinusitis, skin and skin structure infections and urinary tract infections due to susceptible bacteria.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
