From Vibcare Pharma's Prima division, Moxivib CV 375 (10 Pack) is a tablet that contains Amoxycillin 250 mg and Clavulanic Acid 125 mg. It belongs to the class of penicillin antibacterials combined with a beta-lactamase inhibitor. The pack is 10x10 (Alu Alu).
The two ingredients in each tablet carry out linked tasks. Amoxycillin stops bacteria from building their cell wall, a structure essential for their survival. Clavulanic Acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor; it blocks the enzyme that certain bacteria produce to disable amoxycillin, so that amoxycillin can continue to act against them.
This product is prescribed for lower respiratory tract infections, acute bacterial otitis media, sinusitis, skin and skin structure infections and urinary tract infections caused by susceptible bacteria.
Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
