Yetomox CV Kid is a tablet formulation from the Auspin division of Vibcare Pharma. Every tablet provides Amoxycillin 200 mg together with Clavulanic Acid 28.5 mg. It is classed as an antibiotic and anti-infective (antibacterial) product, and it comes packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu).
The tablet pairs two working parts. Amoxycillin, a penicillin-class antibacterial, acts on bacteria by preventing them from forming cell walls. Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that stops certain bacteria from disabling amoxycillin with the enzyme they produce, allowing the antibacterial to act on those strains.
Yetomox CV Kid is used for the treatment of lower respiratory tract infections, acute bacterial otitis media, sinusitis, skin and skin structure infections, and urinary tract infections due to susceptible beta-lactamase-producing bacteria. It should be avoided in patients with mononucleosis because of the risk of skin rash.
Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
