Description

Yetomox CV Dry Syrup is a dry syrup made by Vibcare Pharma, from its Auspin division. Each dose carries Amoxycillin 200 mg and Clavulanic Acid 28.5 mg. It falls in the penicillin antibiotic class combined with a beta-lactamase inhibitor and is packed as 30ml.

How it works

Amoxycillin in the syrup works by stopping bacteria from forming their cell wall, which prevents them from growing. Clavulanic Acid acts as a beta-lactamase inhibitor; it blocks the enzyme that certain bacteria produce to break down amoxycillin. Together, the two ingredients help amoxycillin act against bacteria that make this enzyme.

Used for

The syrup is used for bacterial infections such as lower respiratory tract infections, acute bacterial otitis media, sinusitis, skin and skin structure infections and urinary tract infections caused by susceptible bacteria.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
