Description

Revmox CV Plus Dry Syrup (WFR) comes from Vibcare Pharma's Evermed division and is a dry syrup for oral suspension. Every dose pair carries Amoxycillin 400 mg plus Clavulanic Acid 57 mg. It belongs to the penicillin antibiotic class combined with a beta-lactamase inhibitor. The pack size is 30ml.

How it works

The amoxycillin component kills susceptible bacteria by stopping them from building a normal cell wall. Clavulanic acid, the other component, disables the beta-lactamase enzymes that some bacteria use to destroy amoxycillin, so the antibiotic can continue to act against those bacteria.

Used for

The syrup is used for lower respiratory tract infections, acute bacterial otitis media, sinusitis, skin and skin structure infections and urinary tract infections caused by susceptible bacteria. It should be avoided in patients with mononucleosis.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
