Evlevo 5 is a tablet made by Vibcare Pharma and supplied from its Evermed division. Every tablet contains Levocetirizine 5 mg, and the product is packed as 10x10 (Blister). It is grouped under the anti-allergic antihistamine class, being an H1 histamine receptor blocker.
Levocetirizine, the active form of cetirizine, works by sitting on H1 histamine receptors and stopping histamine from acting on them. When this happens, the body's allergic response is dampened and symptoms such as sneezing, a runny nose, red itchy eyes and itchy raised patches of skin become easier to manage.
This tablet is indicated for seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and for the treatment of the uncomplicated skin manifestations of chronic idiopathic urticaria in adults and children 6 years of age and older.
Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
