Description

Manufactured by Vibcare Pharma and marketed by its Medanor division, Nevozine 5 is an oral tablet. Each tablet carries Levocetirizine 5 mg as its active content, and it is packed as 10x10 (Blister). The tablet belongs to the antihistamine class of medicines, working as an H1-receptor blocker against allergy.

How it works

The action of Nevozine 5 comes from levocetirizine, which is the active form of cetirizine. It blocks H1 histamine receptors in the body, limiting the action of histamine that is released during an allergic reaction. As a result, the typical signs of allergy, such as sneezing, nasal symptoms, itchy watery eyes and itchy raised skin patches, are brought down.

Used for

Nevozine 5 is used for the treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and for the uncomplicated skin manifestations of chronic idiopathic urticaria, in adults and children 6 years of age and older.
