Levovib Tablet from Vibcare Pharma is an oral tablet containing Levocetirizine 5 mg as the active ingredient. It belongs to the class of antihistamines, also called H1-receptor blockers, and is packed as 10x10 (Blister). The tablet comes from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division.
Levocetirizine is the active form of cetirizine. Inside the body it attaches to H1 histamine receptors and blocks them, so the histamine released during an allergic response produces less effect. This action eases everyday allergy symptoms such as sneezing, a runny or stuffy nose, itchy watery eyes, and itchy raised patches of skin.
The tablets are used for seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis and for the uncomplicated skin manifestations of chronic idiopathic urticaria in adults and children 6 years and older.
Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
