Levoyet 10 tablets by Vibcare Pharma provide Levocetirizine 10 mg for relief of the skin symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria. Main uses: treatment of the uncomplicated skin symptoms of chronic idiopathic urticaria (itching, hives) in adults and children 6 years of age and older; relief of the symptoms of allergic rhinitis such as sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes; reduction of allergic itching of the skin.

Common side effects of Levoyet 10 Tablet include sleepiness or drowsiness; tiredness; dry mouth; nasopharyngitis (sore, irritated nose and throat); sore throat; fever in children. Get medical help at once if you notice urinary retention (difficulty in passing urine); severe allergic reactions including anaphylaxis in people who are hypersensitive to the medicine; new onset itching of the skin after stopping the medicine, usually after long-term use.

Each Levoyet 10 tablet contains Levocetirizine 10 mg. The right dose and how long to take it depend on the condition, age and other medicines, so use Levoyet 10 Tablet only as your doctor advises.

The active ingredient levocetirizine is an antihistamine that works by blocking H1 receptors. When the body responds to an allergen it produces histamine, and histamine leads to itching, hives, sneezing and a runny nose. By blocking histamine, levocetirizine helps bring these allergy symptoms under control.

Must not be used by patients with a known allergy to levocetirizine, cetirizine or any ingredient of the tablet. Must not be used by patients with end-stage kidney disease (creatinine clearance below 10 mL/min) or by patients on haemodialysis. Must not be used by children 6 months to 11 years of age who have kidney impairment. Check with a doctor first if you have kidney impairment, a spinal cord lesion or prostate enlargement, or if you are elderly. The medicine may cause sleepiness: avoid driving, operating machinery and other hazardous activities that require full mental alertness, and avoid alcohol and other medicines that cause drowsiness.
