Description

Rabemount D tablets are produced by Vibcare Pharma for its Evermed division. Each tablet carries Rabeprazole 20 mg and Domperidone 10 mg, placing it in the class of acid-reducing tablets with a gut-motility agent. The product is packed as 10x15 (Alu Alu).

How it works

The Rabeprazole part works on the acid pump of the stomach lining and cuts down the acid the stomach makes. The Domperidone part improves the movement of the stomach and intestines and helps control nausea and vomiting. Used together, they handle both the acid and the stomach discomfort that goes with it.

Used for

Rabemount D is used to heal erosive or ulcerative GERD and give short-term relief of its symptoms, to support healing of duodenal ulcers, and to relieve nausea and vomiting linked with acid reflux. It is also not for patients with a known QT prolongation or heart conduction disorder, or for use with QT-prolonging medicines or strong CYP3A4 inhibitors, as these raise the risk of serious heart rhythm problems.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
