Description

Rabevib DSR is a capsule that contains Rabeprazole 20 mg and Domperidone 30 mg. It belongs to the class of medicine used for acid reflux and gut motility support. The capsules come packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu) and are made by Vibcare Pharma's Prima division.

How it works

Rabeprazole blocks the acid pump in the stomach lining and lowers the amount of acid formed, so irritation of the food pipe and stomach eases. Domperidone acts on dopamine receptors in the gut, improving stomach and bowel movement and helping food move forward, and it also works on the vomiting centre to control nausea and vomiting.

Used for

These capsules are used for acid reflux with heartburn, erosive or ulcerative reflux disease, gastric and duodenal ulcers, indigestion with bloating, and nausea or vomiting linked to slow gastric emptying.
