Description

From Vibcare Pharma's Medanor division, Norarab DSR is a capsule made with Rabeprazole 20 mg and Domperidone 30 mg. It belongs to the class of medicines for acid reflux and prokinetic support. The pack supplied is 10x15 (Alu Alu).

How it works

Rabeprazole works by blocking the acid pump in the stomach lining and cutting down acid release, which eases the burning of heartburn and gives the food pipe a chance to heal. Domperidone improves stomach and bowel movement and shortens the time food stays in the stomach, while also acting on the vomiting centre to keep nausea and vomiting under control.

Used for

Its uses cover acid reflux with heartburn, erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease, gastric and duodenal ulcers, dyspepsia with bloating, and nausea or vomiting linked to slow gastric emptying.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
