Description

A capsule product from Vibcare Pharma's Auspin division, Rabejem DSR brings together Rabeprazole 20 mg and Domperidone 30 mg. It is grouped with medicines used for acid reflux and prokinetic support. Each strip is supplied as 10x10 (Alu Alu) packing.

How it works

The two ingredients work in different ways. Rabeprazole stops the acid pump of the stomach lining from releasing acid, which reduces the acid that irritates the food pipe and stomach. Domperidone improves the movement of the stomach and bowel and helps food clear the stomach sooner; at the same time it calms the vomiting centre, so nausea and vomiting come down.

Used for

Doctors prescribe this capsule for heartburn and acid reflux, erosive or ulcerative reflux disease, gastric and duodenal ulcers, dyspepsia with fullness, and nausea or vomiting due to delayed gastric emptying.
