Read our full guide: Rabeprazole: uses, dose, side effects and brands
From Vibcare Pharma's Prima division comes Rabevib D, a tablet that contains Rabeprazole 20 mg and Domperidone 10 mg. It is classified as an acid-reducing medicine combined with a prokinetic agent, and it is packed as 10x15 (Alu Alu).
Rabeprazole in Rabevib D shuts down the acid pump in the stomach lining so that less acid is secreted. Domperidone improves the movement of food through the stomach and gut and also calms nausea. This dual action lowers stomach acid and relieves the bloating, fullness and queasiness seen with acid reflux.
The tablet is given for healing and short-term treatment of erosive or ulcerative gastroesophageal reflux disease, for relief of heartburn and acid regurgitation, for healing of duodenal ulcers, and for nausea and vomiting related to acid reflux.
Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
