About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

From Vibcare Pharma's Prima division, Omivib D (new Pack) is a capsule product. It contains two active ingredients in each capsule, Omeprazole 20 mg and Domperidone 10 mg. The medicine belongs to the gastro class of prokinetic and anti-emetic agents. It is packed as 20x15 (Alu Strip).

How it works

The two parts act in different ways. Omeprazole blocks the acid pump of the stomach lining and cuts down how much acid the stomach produces. Domperidone supports this by helping the stomach empty its contents and by calming the nerve signals that bring on nausea and vomiting.

Used for

It is used for problems caused by stomach acid, such as acid reflux, heartburn, duodenal or gastric ulcer, when these are joined by nausea, vomiting or bloating.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
