Description

A broad-spectrum antibacterial medication against aerobic gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria. (P A Todd, 1991) A potent antibiotic with rapid bactericidal activity against a wide variety of organisms. (R H Drew, 1988) A useful therapeutic agent in controlling acute exacerbations of chronic respiratory tract infections. (A Watanabe, 1991) More effective and better tolerated than amoxycillin in infective episodes of bronchiectasis. (W K Lam, 1989) Offers a valuable oral treatment for use in a wide range of clinical infections. (P A Todd D. F., 1991) Exhibits better antimicrobial activity than norfloxacin, enoxacin, and pefloxacin against some pseudomonal, streptococcal and staphylococcal strains. (Peter A. Todd & Diana Faulds, 1991) A highly effective drug than carbenicillin in the treatment of acute or chronic bacterial prostatitis. (Peter A.
