Description

From Vibcare Pharma, Everazi 500 is supplied as tablets whose active ingredient is Azithromycin 500mg. It is classified under antibiotics and anti-infectives and works as a macrolide antibacterial. The product is packed as 5x6x5 (Blister) and is part of Vibcare Pharma's Evermed division.

How it works

Each tablet depends on azithromycin to do the work. Being a macrolide antibacterial, it stops susceptible bacteria from producing the proteins needed for growth, which holds the infection in check while the body clears it.

Used for

The tablet is used for mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible bacteria: community-acquired pneumonia in adults and patients 6 months of age and older, pharyngitis and tonsillitis in adults and patients 2 years of age and older, acute bacterial sinusitis in adults, acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis in adults, uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections in adults, urethritis and cervicitis in adults, and genital ulcer disease in men.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
