Description

Norazi 500 is a tablet product of Vibcare Pharma, and each tablet contains Azithromycin 500mg as the active ingredient. The medicine sits in the antibiotic and anti-infective class, specifically the macrolide antibacterial group. It is packed as 5x6x5 (Blister) and is marketed through Vibcare Pharma's Medanor division.

How it works

What the tablet does follows the action of azithromycin, a macrolide antibacterial. It blocks the protein-building machinery of susceptible bacteria, slowing their growth so the body can deal with the infection.

Used for

Norazi 500 is used for mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible bacteria: community-acquired pneumonia in adults and patients 6 months of age and older, pharyngitis and tonsillitis in adults and patients 2 years of age and older, acute bacterial sinusitis in adults, acute bacterial exacerbations of chronic bronchitis in adults, uncomplicated skin and skin structure infections in adults, urethritis and cervicitis in adults, and genital ulcer disease in men.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
