Description

Cefdolam 200 is a tablet formulation in which each tablet provides Cefpodoxime 200 mg. Cefpodoxime falls under the cephalosporin class of antibacterial medicines. Packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu), it is offered by Vibcare Pharma from its Evermed division.

How it works

The active substance cefpodoxime prevents bacteria from completing their cell walls. Without a proper wall, the bacteria cannot multiply and eventually die out, so the infection is brought under control with help from the body's immune response.
