Description

Sold as tablets, Cefponor 200 contains Cefpodoxime 200 mg per tablet. This ingredient is an antibiotic belonging to the cephalosporin group. The brand is packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu) and is part of Vibcare Pharma's Medanor division.

How it works

Cefpodoxime, the ingredient in every tablet, acts by blocking the formation of the bacterial cell wall. Bacteria that cannot build a complete wall stop growing, and the body can then clear the infection that the medicine has helped to control.
