Odoxicef WFR Dry Syrup offers cefpodoxime 50 mg for mild to moderate bacterial infections of the ear, throat, tonsils and chest. Main uses: acute otitis media (middle ear infection) in susceptible bacterial infections; pharyngitis and tonsillitis caused by Streptococcus pyogenes; community-acquired pneumonia caused by susceptible bacteria; acute bacterial exacerbation of chronic bronchitis caused by susceptible bacteria; other mild to moderate infections caused by susceptible strains of the listed bacteria.

Common side effects of Odoxicef 50 WFR Dry Syrup include diarrhoea or loose stools; nausea; vomiting; abdominal pain; headache; fungal infection of the vagina. Get medical help at once if you notice severe allergic reactions including anaphylaxis, which need urgent medical treatment; clostridium difficile associated diarrhoea, which may range from mild diarrhoea to severe colitis.
