Description

Odoxicef 200 is a tablet that contains Cefpodoxime 200 mg in each tablet. Cefpodoxime belongs to the cephalosporin class of antibiotics, which act against a wide range of bacteria. The product is packed as 10x10 (Alu Alu) and comes from Vibcare Pharma's Prima division.

How it works

Cefpodoxime, the active ingredient in each tablet, works by stopping bacteria from forming their cell walls. When the cell wall is incomplete, the bacteria cannot survive or multiply. In this way the tablet supports the body's own defences in clearing a susceptible bacterial infection.
