About the product

By Vibcare Pharma · Updated 9 October 2026 · Based on product labels and standard drug references

Description

Mefolam P Suspension is an oral suspension from Vibcare Pharma's Evermed division. The suspension contains Mefenamic Acid 50 mg and Paracetamol 125 mg. The medicine is placed in the analgesic and anti-inflammatory (NSAID) group, and it is packed as 60ml.

How it works

Mefenamic Acid in the suspension works by cutting down prostaglandin production at the site of pain, which eases pain and swelling signals in the tissues. Paracetamol acts on the pain and temperature-setting areas of the brain, so it eases pain and reduces fever. Together the two ingredients give relief through two different routes.
