Description

From Vibcare Pharma's Evermed division comes Mefolam P Tablet, a tablet formulation. Each tablet provides Mefenamic Acid 500mg and Paracetamol 325mg as its active ingredients. It is classified as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory (NSAID) medicine and is packed as 10x2x10 (Blister).

How it works

How the tablet helps begins with mefenamic acid, which reduces the prostaglandins that carry pain signals and cause swelling in the body. Paracetamol complements it by relieving minor aches and pains and lowering fever. This dual action works towards relief from both pain and feverish discomfort.

Used for

Mefolam P Tablet is indicated for mild to moderate pain and for primary dysmenorrhea, covering complaints like headache, toothache and muscular aches. Other paracetamol-containing medicines must be avoided, since an overdose of paracetamol can cause severe liver damage, and NSAID treatment carries a risk of heart attack or stroke and of bleeding, ulcer or perforation in the stomach or intestine.

Use only on a doctor's prescription, at the dose and for the duration advised.
